The Central Maryland Association of .NET Professionals Server Technology group is a special interest group. The group is free and open to the public.
The purpose of the CMAP Server Group is to explore and review Server products and how they can be leveraged in solutions. In some cases, when not to use a Server product may be as important as when to use a Server. Presentations will examine techniques and provide lessons learned in the implementation of Server products. Each meeting should include the presentation of a Server technology and real world examples of that technology to solve real problems. Discussion following the presentation will include evaluation of the presented Server and any associated technologies and techniques for implementing solutions. The final meeting will be used to summarize/review the year’s presentation and provide a summary booklet.
At the meeting we have networking time, presentations, and refreshments.
Our Server Group meeting is ALWAYS the Second Tuesday of the month unless noted in the meeting announcement. The meetings run from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The group meets from fall through early summer and takes a break during the summer months.
The Server Group is still looking for a meeting location and it will be announced here soon (please review the schedule of meetings to get directions).
