He serves on the board for IASA (International Association of Software Architects) and is starting up the Philadelphia chapter. Bio John Baird began his computer programming career while in the US Navy. In 1982, he helped form and direct the first PC-based computer processing department for training and manpower in the Department of Defense. After leaving the military in 1988, John began a varied career as a consultant developing business applications ranging from computer-based training to vertical market software for resellers. Today, John is working for the industry leader in financial software for fund administration. Bio Jean Barmash is a Senior Consultant and Trainer at Infusion Development (www.infusiondev.com), a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner which offers software development services, developer training and consulting services. In that role, he splits his time between architecture, training, team management, and hands-on development. Jean held a number of roles that exposed him to different areas of technology creation. As an integration consultant working for a software company, he was involved in several automotive projects with Fortune 100 companies, including an internal engineering configuration project, and a publicly-facing consumer web site. In his role as principal developer for VERITAS (now Symantec), Jean was a member of a product team focused on business intelligence solutions aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the data center. In addition to his work responsibilities, Jean has contributed contributing to the IASA, the International Association of Software Architects, on several writing projects related to architects education. He is a frequent speaker to various newsgroups and has developed and presented several training courses. Well-versed in both .NET and Java, he is interested in bringing the latest technologies to the enterprise. Bio Chad is an Advisory Support Engineer / Premier Engineer for Sql Server and Clustered systems with Microsoft Corporation responsible for providing onsite and remote support, guidance, and advice with SQL Server products to some of Microsoft's foremost enterprise customers running the largest, most complex SQL Server installations and configurations in the world. This includes all SQL Server products and versions, including SQL Server 7.0, 2000, and 2005, the SQL Server database engine, Reporting Services, SSIS/DTS, Notification Services, and Analysis Services on both 32 and 64 bit systems.
